Alternative Gifts from People Helping People Global are back this year! This is the gift that truly does keep giving. When you give an Alternative Gift, the money is used to provide microloans to individuals living on less than two dollars a day. These microloans are used to start or expand small businesses, which in turn allows our clients to raise their families out of poverty. After the money is invested, the loans are repaid and others in the community get the same opportunity to raise their families out of extreme poverty.
The gifts are folded cards that are 3x5 with the above picture on the front. The inside contains the following text:
Pictured on the front: The children of Grace and Fabiola, two of People Helping People Global's microloan recipients. Grace started a business selling vegetables, while Fabiola used the money from her loan to sell prepared foods, such as tacos and enchiladas.

The first orders will be shipped out via USPS by December 9th. Any orders received after that date will be processed and sent out the next day. Please try to order your gifts at least four days prior to the date you need them to be delivered. USPS mail tends to take a bit longer this time of year.
