Mission

Our mission is to provide individuals with the tools necessary to help themselves and their communities escape extreme poverty. We do this by providing our clients interest-free microloans, training, and exposure to new markets.

Strategy

Our approach is multi-faceted, because we believe that a well-rounded approach is necessary to aid families in their escape out of the vicious cycle of poverty. In communities that require infrastructural help, we provide the resources necessary to achieve financial stability (e.g., electricity, water, education).  By partnering with the individuals of these communities we empower them to develop businesses which will generate enough income to raise their family and community out of poverty.

Our organization believes in the importance of providing individuals with the opportunity to help themselves out of poverty. However, we do not believe in giving money or things away for free. In return for any funding that we provide, we ask for a verbal agreement that these individuals will repay us for the help that we have provided them. Everyone understands that repayment is important, because it allows other community members to participate and the community is strengthened with each project.
